Elissa Fusco is a 2015 Kent State University STEMM Scholar and a Choose Ohio First Scholarship recipient.

Elissa is a Sophomore at the Kent Campus of Kent State University, and is majoring in Biology within the College of Arts and Sciences.

Elissa is one of more than 100 Kent State University STEMM Scholars and Choose Ohio First Scholarship recipients, all of whom are among the top students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and Medicine (STEMM) in the state, and are recognized with scholarships provided through the Ohio Board of Regents. The funding is designed to support top Ohio talent and promote employment and opportunity for these scholars. The Kent State STEMM scholars study a variety of science-based fields, both traditional and cutting-edge.

Elissa's scholarship, research interests and campus leadership greatly contribute to the Kent State community.
